Win-Win

The day has been damp and gloomy since the morning. I was determined to have a good day.  I don’t know about you but when my baby doesn’t have a good sleep or nap, it throws me off completely. W woke at 5:30 am and didn’t go back to sleep.  She must’ve been tired because she fell asleep shortly after we dropped M off at his school.  After dropping V off, I decided to drive to Once Upon a Child in Richmond Hill.  I took Bayview all the way up to Elgin Mills and it was a nice drive.  I really enjoyed it and tried to pace myself so that I would not be stopping at too many red lights.  W slept for 1 hr 17 min.

Upon arriving at the store, everything was very organized as the store had just opened for the day.  I was one of two customers and I let W walk around and explore.  I scored some really good deals. The above two jackets are down-filled and they cost $15 and $17.50, respectively.  I also found another one for Z – NorthFace, also down-filled and reversible.  It was a steal for $30!  (Except when I got home, I realized the store clerk had forgotten to put it in the bag.  So M asked one of his colleagues to pick it up for us since she lives up in that area.)  The dresses are for W.  The left one, from Mexx, was on clearance and cost me $1.  The right one is a Baby GAP dress, for $4.50.
And these pants were also on clearance, so I got them all for $1 each!  Crazy.  GAP, OshKosh, GAP.  I also got some books for the kids. All in all, a great morning with some good scores.
