Spare Time

Now that W is napping in the crib, I can actually say I have spare time.  Wow, that felt so nice to say.  

• I actually debated taking a nap.  Instead I chose to finish the Tugging Box I toy I was inspired to make from Pinterest. It turned out well.  

I used the box in which the IKEA fridge filter came in. Ribbons knotted and beads or Pom poms hot glued at the ends made them colourful.  I also added two pipe cleaners for texture. Then I wrapped the box up in this silver sticky back paper and finished the edges with some washi tape. Some stickers all over to add to the appeal. 

I have a feeling my two older children will be amused with this toy more than the baby.  We’ll see.  

I guess here’s proof the toy is a success.
